Arshav-In, Ourshavin, A Close Shav and Other Thoughts Over a Glass of Wine
So we got him. What a horrible, awful month it's been, waiting. And if I feel this way, imagine how poor Andrey must feel. (Apparently the entire British press corps has been spelling his name wrong all this time.)
Anyway, as he himself said today on Sky Sports, none of that matters anymore. What does matter is how fast we can get this guy on the pitch. The last game he played was December, so it'll be a while - but I don't have a good sense. Two weeks? Who knows, but not f'ing fast enough.
I'm pretty excited, I must say. Arsene knows, right, so chances are better than even he'll fit in and adapt well to the Premier League. I hope we give him no. 10 when Gallas leaves this summer - 23 somehow just doesn't seem right.
I can't wait to see him play. I hope they show that game here. So long Eboue...
