The EPL Today

Bayern Munich's Owen Hargreaves in on the verge of a move to Manchester United. Bayern are reluctant to allow the move and have bumped the price up to get him to stay. It sounds like Hargreaves want to make this move regardless of what his club thinks. The deal is said to be for about £13 million. "To play (for Manchester United) is a great opportunity and I would be happy if I got that chance." Hargeaves has been with Bayern since he was 16 years old. He plays for the England National Team even though he lived most his life in Canada. He feels that playing in the EPL will strengthen his skills and an international player as well. Time will tell if this will happen.

And for our final bit of news today, Willian Gallas still wants to leave Chelsea. Mourinho insistes that he will not let Gallas go anywhere. The 28 year old French player has publically expressed that he wants to leave the club. He told French publication L'Equipe: "I still want to leave Chelsea. I hope things will get sorted out fast but it does not prevent me from playing. " "Do I feel things are dragging on? Yes and no. My team-mates help me feel fine during training." Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck recently told BBC Radio Five Live Sport: "We're not interested in transferring him to a Premier League club or another club in Europe. "He has one year on his contract and we expect him to fulfil that." So the Gallas saga continues. Hopefully they will give him to Arsenal in trade for Cashley Cole.
That's the news for today!
