Champions League Group Stage - Round One

Here's a recap of yesterdays Champions League Group Stage matches. Lots of big scores for the first round. Barcelona came up big with five goals, while Bayern and Roma put four in. The most exciting match of the day was Olympiakos v Valencia.

Chelsea 2-0 Bremen
Barcelona 5-0 Levski
Sporting 1-0 Inter Milan
Bayern 4-0 Spartak
Gal'tasaray 0-0 Bordeaux
PSV 0-0 Liverpool
Olympiakos 2-4 Valencia
Roma 4-0 Shakhtar

Today we will see the second half of the group playing, here's the fixture list:

Dynamo Kiev vs. Steaua
Lyon vs. Real Madrid
Man United vs. Celtic
Copenhagen vs. Benfica
Porto vs. CSKA Moscow
Hamburg vs. Arsenal
Anderlecht vs. Lille
Milan vs. AEK Athens

Since I have a bias, I will specifically talk about Arsenal. Arsenal are playing away to Hamburg at 11:45am PST today. We will be without Thierry Henry who was injured in the France v Italy match last week. We will be featuring the two new members of Arsenal, William Gallas and Julio Baptista. It's going to be a difficult match for us playing away, but hopefully we will come out with at least a draw. The Lyon v Real Madrid match should also be an exciting one to watch. Lyon is top of the league and has a pretty tough team.
