Ibrahimovic Secretly Six Years Old

Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is refusing to play for Sweden in the next two Euro 2008 qualifiers because he was sent home for staying out late before the Liechtenstein game (which they tied). Ibrahimovic and teammates Christian Wilhelmsson and Olof Mellberg were sent packing by coach Lars Lagerback two days before the September 6 game.

Dude, you broke the rules, and you gotta pay. Do us all a favor and stop sulking.

Ibrahimovic will miss Sweden's home game against Spain on October 7 and the away game against Iceland four days later. But Wilhelmsson and Mellberg will play, the Swedish football association said.

“If a player does not want to play, for whatever reason, then I do not see that he gives anything to the team. Then I would rather have a player who wants to take part 100 percent," Lagerback added.

I used to like ol' Zlatan. And now I like his coach.
