U.S. Courts Sven, Who Apparently Courts Everyone Else

So apparently Sven-Goran Eriksson is being considered as a replacement for Bruce Arena as coach of the United States, reports the New York Times. However, it seems the U.S. may not be able to make his salary demands.

You would think that since he knows what it’s like to be forever picked on, he would take the job out of pure pity.

Other high-profile coaches have also been linked with the U.S. coaching position, including former Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann – who lives in Southern California, and Jose Pekerman, who led Argentina at this year's World Cup.

On a side note, I was about to type that Sven's girlfriend, Nancy Dell'Olio, is a 'ho. As she totally is. But then, it turns out, so is Sven. An old 'ho at that. Man, if I was a former model-turned-secretary, or even a not-repulsive-but-clearly-slutty "property lawyer," there is NO WAY I would pick this guy. Not even if he got me tickets to all France games for the next 50 years. Blech.

Anyhoo, despite all this, I hope Sven gets the job. Klinsmann is too good (and too in shape). I like him a lot, but he gives me an inferiority complex. And Pekerman is too…skeletal.
