Scotland Injuries

I know very little about the Scotland team other than that they are tied with/slightly ahead of France in Group B of the Euro 2008 qualifying round (the two teams play each other on October 7 in Scotland). But World Soccer News reports that Reading defender Graeme Murty has withdrawn from the squad with a hamstring injury and there are doubts over defenders Russell Anderson and Kevin McNaughton and West Brom midfielder Nigel Quashie.

Clearly not good for Scotland. But maybe this means that Domenech can rest Makelele a bit (and Thuram). Allez!
