Arsenal 2 - 0 Olympiacos

Arsenal proved to be able to handle Zico's plan to pack it in and try to com eout with a 0-0 draw in the end. A few key plays in the second half put a nice ball across to RvP for the first goal and then Arshavin for the second. So in the end no matter how hard you try to pack it in, Arsenal beat you at your game.

Mannone had to make one good save, but outside of that I felt this was really a one sided match with Arseal dominating from the start. The Keeper for Olympiacos made some good saves to keep them sort of in it and Arshavin's goal was offsides, but still three points go to Arsenal.

Theo Walcott played in the reserve match for 60 minutes and looks to maybe be ready to come back to first team action for this weekends match.

A job well done by Arsenal and hopefully we will have our place locked up in the next round after the next two matches.
