Big Changes - Not Been Paying Attention

Chelsea sack Scolari and are on their way to hiring Hiddink. I don't think that anything can help them at this point the Greedy Russian Mobster owner they have wants to win and nothing else. Sometimes that's just the way it goes.
Tony Adams is out at Pompey after wining only 2 of 12 or something like that. I'm not sure that should be much of a surprise to him. He really hasn't proven to have a good track record in coaching. He may need to stick to being a defensive coach or maybe recruiting talent for teams. At Wycombe he took over a failing team and couldn't turn them around and at Pompey he was moved in when old Harry left.
Arsenal should really consider bringing him on to be the defense coach. Gallas and Toure and the others seem to need a little bit of help these days. Too many silly mistakes for their level of play. Not that our offense isn't part of the problem, but I would be just has happy singing 1 Nil to Arsenal.
I wonder who the next sacking will be.
The last stage of the season is on and Arsenal are currently in 5th place 5 points behind Chelsea fighting for that last spot in the CL. I'm not sure we can do it this year with making only one purchase. We have players coming back, but they are not match fit and the Russian isn't really match fit having been off since November.
It all comes down to these final months - can we pull it off? I think only if Villa falls gracefully down the line.
Come On Arsenal!

Arshav-In, Ourshavin, A Close Shav and Other Thoughts Over a Glass of Wine
So we got him. What a horrible, awful month it's been, waiting. And if I feel this way, imagine how poor Andrey must feel. (Apparently the entire British press corps has been spelling his name wrong all this time.)
Anyway, as he himself said today on Sky Sports, none of that matters anymore. What does matter is how fast we can get this guy on the pitch. The last game he played was December, so it'll be a while - but I don't have a good sense. Two weeks? Who knows, but not f'ing fast enough.
I'm pretty excited, I must say. Arsene knows, right, so chances are better than even he'll fit in and adapt well to the Premier League. I hope we give him no. 10 when Gallas leaves this summer - 23 somehow just doesn't seem right.
I can't wait to see him play. I hope they show that game here. So long Eboue...
